TUSSIE MUSSIE......

The name for these sweet little sachets is Tussie Mussie and they were thought to have originated in France, but did not grow to full popularity until Victorian England. During this time they were given by a young man to the lady of his heart. Each flower would have a special meaning and they were also known by the name 'Talking Bouquet' because of their hidden message. I have always thought this to be one of the loveliest traditions, what could be sweeter or more romantic than a pretty Tussie Mussie......

The top of this sachet has lots of sweet millinery roses, vintage rhinestones and pretty ribbons. I have accented all of the pretty little roses with very fine glitter and it makes this look so charming and vintage.....

This is a larger Tussie Mussie and the finished dimensions are 7" not including the ribbon hanger.......
