Jolie Fille Collection Item #004-004

VINTAGE STYLE SPUN COTTON 'PRETTY GIRLS'......

One of my new great loves are vintage style spun cotton ornaments and collectables. So for this reason I decided to make some of my own. These little 'Jolie Fille' which is French for pretty girls are some of my first creations. I hope you love them also......

These have been made using the very old method of spun cotton, they are very labor intensive to make but have a charm that has to be seen to be believed. These lovely collectables have been fashioned with all of the qualities of the old with some new details thrown in......

This lovely spun cotton doll has a multi layered crepe paper dress, reproduction vintage face, Venise embroidered roses, glitter, tinsel, wool felt and ribbons. The dimensions of each spun cotton doll is approximately 7"......
